The mission or goal of Christian Education is the “…building up of the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:12-13). The ultimate goal is to grow, nurture, and disciple believers toward maturity in Christ Jesus so that they are equipped to glorify God in every area of their lives and in every role of their lives. Said another way, the mission is to transform lives by moving members gently but purposefully toward the goal of mature discipleship and corporate unity in Christ.
