The mission or goal of
Christian Education at Trinity Presbyterian Church,
according to the Adult Ministries Guideline and Handbook, is
the "…building up of the body of Christ, until we all
attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the
Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature
of the fullness of Christ" (Ephesians 4:12-13). The
ultimate goal is to grow, nurture, and disciple believers
toward maturity in Christ Jesus so that they are equipped to
glorify God in every area of their lives and in every role
of their lives. Said another way, the mission is to
transform lives by moving members gently but purposefully
toward the goal of mature discipleship and corporate unity
in Christ. This transformation and purposeful movement
begins in childhood.
The Purpose of the
Ministry to Children in Trinity Presbyterian Church
The Ministry to Children of Trinity Presbyterian Church
exists to oversee and facilitate ministries that grow,
nurture, and disciple covenant children and children of the
community, gently but purposefully, toward maturity in
Christ Jesus so that they are equipped to glorify God in
every area of their lives and in every role of their lives.
