The
purpose of Trinity Presbyterian Church is, “To exalt Christ
in Metropolitan Montgomery by dynamic and faithful worship,
aggressive evangelism both at home and abroad, teaching the
Word of God, and equipping members to minister to the
spiritual needs of our church and community. This purpose
statement reflects and delineates the three functions of the
church of Christ: worship (directed toward God), nurture or
discipleship (directed toward the members of the church),
and evangelism or witness (directed toward the world).
Serving God in worship, serving the church through nurture,
and serving the world through witness encompasses the whole
of what the church is to do. Christian Education is part of
the nurturing ministry of the church.
The
mission or goal of Christian Education is the “…building up
of the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of
the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature
manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of
Christ” (Ephesians 4:12-13). The ultimate goal is to grow,
nurture, and disciple believers toward maturity in Christ
Jesus so that they are equipped to glorify God in every area
of their lives and in every role of their lives. Said
another way, the mission is to transform lives by moving
members gently bur purposefully toward the goal of mature
discipleship and corporate unity in Christ.
Adult Sunday School
Each Lord’s Day morning the adults at trinity gather in
smaller communities for in depth instruction and warm
fellowship. We are committed to a Bible-centered
curriculum, traditional Presbyterian theology, and
teaching that constantly brings believers back to the
gospel as the power for change in the Christian life.

Wednesday Nights
The
purpose of Wednesday Night Programs is to gather the
church family one time weekly for discipleship, ministry
training, fellowship, and ministry team meetings. The
church’s ACTION policy (All Church Things in One Night)
reflects Trinity’s commitment to be a family friendly
church by consolidating the church’s midweek activities
and ministry meetings as much as possible to one day.

Women
in the Church
Through
the Women in the Church (WIC) many opportunities are
provided for women’s ministry. Women are encouraged to
minister to one another, to the church family, to the
community, and beyond through congregational care, mercy,
outreach, and missions ministries. Bible studies and
circles provide a means by which our women may know and
apply increasingly the teachings of Christ.

the WIC.
Men
of the Church
For the
health of the church, marriages, and families, Trinity
believes it is imperative that the men of the church be
growing in their individual lives. Through small group
Bible studies, accountability groups, and large group
events, men are taught and encouraged to “live in Christ”
(Colossians 2:6). Click here to
