Sunday School Children attend Sunday School from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. All children's Sunday School classes are in the Covenant Building. The Sunday School curriculum includes studies from the Children's Catechism and reformed curriculum presented through games, skits, Bible reading and age-appropriate activities. The Children's Memorywork is a cornerstone of our Sunday School. Developed in 1963 and in continuous use since that time, the Children's Memorywork has been used by many other Churches around the country. It gained such popularity that it eventually was published by the Presbyterian Church in America for use with its denomination wide Sunday School Curriculum. If children complete all their memorywork from beginning to end (two years old through sixth grade), they will have memorized 120 Bible verses, 145 Catechism answers, The Lord's Prayer, The Doxology, Names of the Twelve Apostles, The Gloria Patri, Books of the Bible, The Apostles' Creed, the Beatitudes, and the Ten Commandments. Children who complete their grade level memory work will be given a special award on Promotion Sunday. A copy of the Sunday School Memorywork can be found here. Preschoolers

Grade level classes for ages two years old through sixth grade teach our children God’s truths from a reformed perspective. We have a group of experienced and dedicated teachers who engage the children in interesting and challenging lessons each week. An emphasis is placed on learning not only the stories and truths of the Bible, but in applying these truths to everyday life. As we teach, we strive to show how Jesus Christ is reflected on every page of the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and that the Scripture of God’s unfolding story of salvation. |
